Snorting cocaine up the nose or mixing it into something you take by mouth are two of the most common means of ingesting it. There are several consequences to these methods of use. They include:

  • Severe and frequent nosebleeds

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, injecting cocaine puts you at very high risk of contracting a blood borne disease such as HIV or hepatitis C.

Other Effects

The physical effects of cocaine use are not the only bad parts to it. There are many others, including:

  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Inability to feel pleasure
  • Paranoia
  • Anxiety
  • Depression

All of these effects can be so severe that they make it all but impossible to live day to day.
